Two Upcoming Neurodiversity Events You Won’t Want to Miss

The world of neurodiversity is growing louder, wiser, and more connected every year. Across research, community spaces, and lived-experience advocacy, a simple truth keeps resurfacing; neurodivergent people thrive when we gather, share knowledge, and build community together.

Over the coming months, NeuroHub Community Ltd is hosting two powerful events that do exactly that. One celebrates neurodivergent identity and belonging during Neurodiversity Celebration Week, and the other brings together voices from across the field to explore the complex realities of Autistic mental health.

Whether you are neurodivergent yourself, a professional, a family member, or simply someone who wants to understand the neurodiversity movement more deeply, these events are designed to inform, connect, and inspire.

Let’s take a closer look.

Celebrating Neurodivergence

During Neurodiversity Celebration Week, communities across the world host conversations and events that challenge stereotypes and celebrate different ways of thinking. The initiative aims to shift society away from deficit-based narratives and toward acceptance, equality, and inclusion for neurodivergent people.

This year, David Gray-Hammond (NeuroHub Community Ltd) and Charlie Hart (Ausome Charlie Ltd) are coming together for a special online event exploring what it really means to celebrate neurodivergence.

Neurodiversity Celebration Week – Celebrating Neurodivergence
Date: Friday 20 March 2026
Format: Online (Zoom)
Tickets: £10

The session will explore themes of identity, belonging, and community within the neurodiversity movement. Both speakers bring years of experience advocating for neurodivergent people, combining lived experience with professional insight to create conversations that are both accessible and deeply thought-provoking.

Expect discussion that moves beyond awareness and into the realities of neurodivergent life, including how we build communities where difference is not merely tolerated, but genuinely valued.

If you’ve ever wondered how the neurodiversity movement is reshaping culture, education, and mental health conversations, this event is a perfect place to start.

The 2026 Autistic Mental Health Conference

Later this year, NeuroHub Community will host one of its flagship events: the Autistic Mental Health Conference 2026.

Dates: 14–16 August 2026
Host: NeuroHub Community Ltd

This conference is designed to explore one of the most urgent issues facing the Autistic community today; mental health.

Autistic people experience higher rates of mental health challenges than the general population, yet many services remain poorly equipped to understand Autistic experience. The conference aims to bridge this gap by bringing together:

  • Autistic voices and lived experience
  • Researchers and academics
  • Mental health professionals
  • Advocates and community leaders

Across multiple sessions, the conference will explore  how ecosystemic harm creates the psychological distress that so many Autistic people experience.

Rather than treating autistic distress purely as an individual problem, the conference will examine how environments, institutions, and social expectations shape mental health outcomes for Autistic people.

In other words, this event is about something deeper than coping strategies. It’s about rethinking the systems around us.
