January At DGH Neurodivergent Consultancy

January has been less about fireworks and more about foundations. Things bedding in. Systems settling. Communities finding their rhythm. Here’s a snapshot of what’s happening across my work right now.

NeuroHub

NeuroHub continues to develop into a genuinely shared space for learning, reflection, and connection.
Within NeuroHub, members now have access to:

  • Peer support sessions, rooted in shared experience rather than professional hierarchy
  • An upcoming Neurodivergent reading group, launching Jamuary 28th, creating space for slow, collective thinking. Our first book will be Neuroqueer Heresies by Nick Walker.
  • Pre-recorded webinars, exploring key themes in depth. These were previously unavailable.

This content sits within the paid NeuroHub membership, allowing the work to remain sustainable while staying accountable to the community it serves. There is an option for free members to purchase the content they wish to access.

Mindfully Divergent

Mindfully Divergent is now fully hosted within NeuroHub, bringing wellbeing, reflection, and community into one integrated space.

Key updates:

  • Paid Mindfully Divergent membership now includes full NeuroHub access
  • A PAYG (Pay As You Go) option remains available, because access should never hinge solely on income

This move allows for better continuity, shared conversations, and fewer fractured platforms competing for attention.

Re-Storying Autism

Work on Re-Storying Autism is progressing well. Course writing is moving steadily and thoughtfully
The course will be included within paid NeuroHub membership;
A text-based version will also be available on Amazon, for those who prefer to engage offline or independently

This project is about narrative repair; undoing deficit stories and replacing them with complexity, context, and care.

We aim to release the full course early this year.

Campaigning

David is currently re-engaging with the campaign regarding CAMHS failure to support Autistic children and young people. This has involved expanding and connecting with other campaigns going on in a similar sphere to this. Find out more by clicking the button below.

Embracing Our Autistic Identity

Session 1 went extremely well, with rich discussion and shared reflection
Session 2 is coming up soon, on January 14th, and I’m genuinely looking forward to continuing the conversation

These sessions have been a reminder that identity isn’t something we arrive at, it’s something we practice, together.

Recordings of session 1 are available for registered attendees.

Podcast Updates

The podcast work continues to grow alongside everything else.

Substance Use for Neurodivergent Adults – Episode 2 is now available

An episode of Neurodiversity In Discussion… focused on neurodivergent burnout is recording live on January 15th.

These conversations sit at the intersection of lived experience, systems, and survival; where the most honest stories tend to live.

Services

I continue to offer consultancy, training, and collaborative work across neurodivergence, wellbeing, systems change, and lived-experience-led practice.

Updated service information is available on the website.

Contact

For enquiries, collaborations, or further information, please use the contact details listed on the site.
January has been about tending the roots rather than chasing the leaves. The rest of the year grows from here.
